Description
This art couture ensemble is crafted from thick scrap leather recovered from handbag production leftovers in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Using a modular, hand-assembled construction, discarded leather fragments are transformed into a self-supporting textile structure. Each unit is folded and assembled by hand, creating a flexible yet sculptural surface that responds to movement while maintaining volume and presence.
The piece explores circular design through material recovery, inclusive craftsmanship, and low-impact production processes. Developed within a creative health framework, the making process prioritizes care, focus, and collective participation as part of the design practice.
Each garment is one of a kind, shaped by the variability of reclaimed materials and the human process behind its construction.
