Description
Pencil skirt with applied craft technique developed from leftover canvas pieces. The canvas pieces went through an application of puff paint and gloss to achieve a rubber-like texture, similar to leather.
The tile pattern is inspired by Amsterdam, its map and particular canal distribution through the rings. Influenced by Mondrian himself, the map was turned into one of De Stijl’s painting, creating a grid of tiles that corresponds to this map.
